What you'll learn

The DMT course equips experienced diversand other professionals with the competencies required to manage routine and medical emergencies in dive operations.

After completing the course, you’ll be able to:

This structured course combines classroom-based theory and hands-on training, with practical skills developed through performing routine checks and calibration of recompression chamber equipment in adherence to certification standards.

Training environment and facilities

The UK-based course takes place at DEEP Campus, a centre for underwater training and innovation in Chepstow in the Southwest of the UK. The heart of the site is an 80 meter deep lake, where oursaturation training facility is located.

The US based course takes place at DEEP Station Florida, a world-class facility for advanced dive training and underwater habitat operations.

Accommodation can be arranged upon request.

Certification awarded: Dive Medical Technician (DMT)

Ceritification validity: 2 years (recertification required)
