Workshop Assistant (6-Month Fixed Term)

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will support both manufacturing and engineering functions by managing goods-in, stores, and dispatch areas while ensuring accurate records of all incoming and outgoing items. Whilst being a 6-month fixed term contract initially, there may be opportunities to extend or turn to permanent in the future.

Procurement Manager

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier identification to timely delivery of key systems for our subsea habitats and surface assets. You will manage a diverse range of commodities, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and compliant sourcing while fostering effective supplier relationships.

Mechanical Engineer.

Based at our DEEP Campus (Chepstow), we’re looking for a creative and forward-thinking Mechanical Engineer to design, develop and test innovative mechanical systems while also enhancing existing products. This role offers a genuine opportunity to solve complex engineering challenges and collaborate with a diverse team to shape the future of subsea product design and development and enable humankind to be aquatic.

H&S Co-ordinator

Based at our advanced, additive manufacturing facility in Avonmouth, you will play a key role in developing, implementing and overseeing Health & Safety programs and procedures and creating a culture safety excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at an early stage and help implement and drive Health & Safety best practice across the manufacturing site.

Training Designer.

As a DEEP Training Designer, you will create detailed, effective, and engaging training content and curriculums for technical diving and submersibles operations. You will create detailed lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and instructional guides tailored to various skill levels, from beginner to expert, incorporating hands-on training elements, simulations, and practical exercises that reflect real-world scenarios and challenges.

Senior Programme Manager, DEEP Institute.

All of DEEP’s missions must be managed with extraordinary attention to detail and a bias for over-communication upwards, sideways and downwards within our dynamic and fast-paced organisation. This is the role of DEEP Institute’s Senior Programme Manager. In this role, you will lead and coordinate multiple complex projects related to overseas maritime operations, submersibles deployments, diver and submersibles training, establishment of forward operating bases, and other critical training, missions and engineering tasks.

Finance Director.

As Finance Director, you will play a critical role in leading all financial operations, ensuring robust financial management, strategic forecasting, and high quality reporting. You will be joining the company at an exciting time and will be a key member of the leadership team where you will drive business growth by streamlining processes, building a lean finance team, and enhance decision-making through close business partnering.

Training Director.

As Training Director, you will lead the development of DEEP’s innovative training portfolio, manage its delivery, and assess its effectiveness. You will lead and manage DEEP’s team of training designers; responsible for creating advanced, high-quality training programmes catering to exceptional people operating in the highly specialized and safety-critical fields of technical diving and submersible operations.

Diving Manager.

As DEEP’s Diving Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our global diving operations and driving the evolution of our cutting-edge aquatic habitats. You will lead a team of expert saturation divers and play a pivotal role driving excellence across all diving activities.

Project Manager.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead successful delivery of one or more of our major projects, ranging from delivery of an underwater habitat, coordinating missions, or manufacturing large components ensuring they meet agreed-upon requirements, budgets, and schedules.

Director of User Experience.

We are seeking a Director of User Experience to shape the future of design processes while leading a talented team of creatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting new standards and refining our approach to customer satisfaction.

Lead Bid, Contract, and Grant Writer.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Bid, Contract, and Grant Writer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and submission of bids, contracts, and grants. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large, complex projects, with strong experience in the aerospace or marine and boat industries. International experience and the ability to handle cross-jurisdictional contracts are essential. The role can be remote.

Product Manager.

We are seeking a Product Manager with a technical background that is customer focused and is biased toward action. In this role you will take responsibility for an entire area within the DEEP product space, working with functional teams and UX to set the vision, tenets, strategy, and roadmap for your space.

Programme Manager.

We are seeking a Programme Manager to lead successful delivery of one or more of our flagship programmes, ranging from delivery of underwater habitats to delivery of critical infrastructure, ocean going missions, or new product development ensuring they meet agreed-upon requirements, budgets, and schedules.

Product Requirements Manager.

We are seeking a Product Requirements Manager to ensure accurate capture of and adherence to customer and top-level functional requirements throughout the Product Development Lifecycle for all DEEP products. As the Product Requirements Manager, you will work primarily with Product Managers to both establish top level product requirements and author and manage the execution of the Validation and Verification activities to prove that the resulting products have met those requirements.
